On the second day of our rest Tenshi and Grim met up with a caravan of dwarves (many of which were very ill) and agreed to meet with Dorian, there human leader. I myself was a bit wary of this group our luck with employers has not been the best, particularly with human employers.

As it turned out this was a royal dwarven Princes caravan and they were seeking the Alchemist we had heard may be able to cure the plague. They new were Chicaran the dwarven alchemists tower might be.

The next morning we hired Cletus the teamster and headed out the road towards the tower, the first day passed without event.

Just past midday of our second day Cletus dropped us off the fork in the river and we would have to cross and walk from here. The trail to the tower was much rougher from this point and even if we had gotten Cletus and his wagon across the river it would have slowed us down and eventually we would have had to left him in the wild.

At the end of day two I heard beautiful music and awoke in the woods, Tenshi was out there too, Ciwin and Grim said they had followed us and there was a nasty half bird half human female trying to lure us to her.

Morning of day 3 came, and as we started to see the tower in the distance, Ciwin and I found some dwarven tracks, heading toward the tower.

On day 4 we arrived at the tower, which was on a small rock outcropping in the middle of a river just the River became an awe inspiring water fall. Ciwin used his fly spell, on Grim and Grim carried us back and forth across the river to the tower. We rang the bell, the door was answered by A dwarf, who said his master was busy, but we were welcome to come in, I noticed that he was wearing chain armor and had a sword under his tunic, and was a bit wary. but not wary enough, as Grim and Tenshi went through the first door, a trap opened beneath Ciwin who was wearing his plate armor, fell through the trap door and into the top of the water fall, Grim and Tenshi were in the next room and although I felt I could jump across the door had shut so I decided to face the dwarf. We began to battle, I found my short sword ineffective, so I switched to my magic dagger, however my skills with this blade were insufficient to defeat my opponent, and I was bested, and fortunately not killed. When I came to Grim and Tenshi were above me, and a bid them were Ciwin was, they did not know, I asked if Grim still had the fly spell on he said yes and flew down to find Ciwin, fortunately he got to him just in time. Although we were badly wounded, Grim Tenshi and Ciwin were determined to search the tower the advised my the creatures we were fighting were lycanthropic rats, and we may be infected

Upon searching the tower we found Chicaran the alchemist, tied up in his room, he made us a beladona cure, but warned us the cure may kill us.. Tenshi Grim and I took the cure and fortunately it did not kill us.

The next morning after some healing and rest, we left the tower with Chicaran in tow, on the way back we avoided a hill giant, thinking it better not to risk the alchemists and by proxy the entire dwarven nations lives.

On the second day of the return trip the Harpy struck again, this time Ciwin, Tenshi and Grim managed to kill it, although after it entranced me and the rest of the party followed in fake trance, the harpy decided to go after Chicarian who was alone in camp.

We made it back to town with Chicaran who began working on a cure, we received a healthy financial reward, which was partially tithed to the Nature Temple, and headed out for some cobbler. While we were out having our cobbler Dorain tracked us down and presented us with an additional reward from the dwarven prince the Axe of Galdar Stonekeep. Which was taken up by Grim. I wonder what the average dwarf thinks of a half orc wielding a dwarven artifact hmmm.

After another night of rest, we decided to head out and investigate the undead again, following the same route we had taken earlier, we went out two hours until night fall and rested. After another full days travel we rested again at night fall, a group of undead attacked some zombies, ghouls and a new type we had not seen before ( we later learned they were specters.) The battle raged Ciwin turned some of the lesser undead but the specters managed to hit Tenshi and Grim before we felled them and drained some of their life force. The rest of that night passed uneventfully.
