After a good nights sleep we decided to take a day to enjoy the festivities again the first day we all went our own ways taking care of personal business, I headed to the Nature temple to keep my promises and began to train as a ranger, the next day Grim participated in the Bear wrestling, Grim being the warrior he is picked the biggest bear, unfortunately for Grim this bear was able to treat him like a play toy and he was unable to win Grim was fairly worn out and bruised after this event so we decided to go to talk to the mage Haberan Sneed about a ring he wished to recover, We went to the Quill and Pen in the better educated part of town and we were concerned Tenshi again negotiated a price to recover the ring and we agreed to meet him the next day to set out to recover the ring.

We went back to The Crock Pot to check on our new friends and found them fixing the floor, we ate lunch there and helped repair the floor and were rewarded at the end with some more of the wonderful cobbler.

The next morning we met Haberan and headed out of town, I felt we were being followed, and moved to the back of the group, after a discussion within the group we headed forward to the graveyard were the ring is supposed to be kept, we came to a Mausoleum, Haberan choose to stay outside and I scoped for traps, we opened the door and went inside, I checked the floor and as we were moving in we were attacked by a strange beast which turned out to be a dark mantle. After the battle we located a secret door opening to stairs down.

On the first part of the stairs down a spear trap was set off which missed me and Grim but unfortunately struck Tenshi, next I was set off a pit trap but was able to avoid falling in, at the bottom of the stairs I found another trap and was able to disable it. At this point the we were in the center of a new hall we choose to go left, at the first room I was able to open the door, did not see any apparent traps and stepped in to start checking the floors.- at this point the door slammed behind me and the room began to flood, I made a couple of quick attempts to quickly open the lock and could here my companions pounding on the door fortunately I remained calm, filled my water skin with air and began to methodically pick the lock, shortly after the room filled with water I was able to get the door open and the water and I came spilling into the hallway into and set off a lightning trap which injured the group.

After a brief recovery period and some welcome healing from Ciwin we continued on and turned with the hall going left, we came to a door on the left which did not have any apparent traps on it, Grim opened the door, I saw him start to turn pale and stiffen up, but he resisted what ever had influenced him.. Inside the room were 4 ghouls and a mummy, We all were hit by an unnatural fear, I and Tenshi were frozen but Ciwin and Grim resisted. Fortunately Ciwin was able to turn the ghouls leaving Grim free to battle the mummy, Grim and Ciwin were hit by the mummy and later Tench was was well, but we were able to defeat it, and the ghouls.

We went to the back room of this burial ground and were greeted by two animated statues we defeated this threat and after setting off a couple of more traps recovered the treasures including the ring, we left through the door on the other side which put us an another hall like the one we came down in, we went to the first door on the left and had another battle with 4 ghouls and a mummy, at this point we turned around intent to return the way we had come, but half way through the treasure room we discovered a secret door which took us back to the stair well and we went up. Grim exited and the door began to slam in front of me, I was able to slip out, but Tenshi and Ciwin were trapped inside the Mausoleum. Grim and I battled the mage and his henchman, for some reason Grim was taking it easy on the henchman, letting me get in some easy hits to their flanks, as Tenshi and Ciwin emerged from the door, we were getting ready to finish off Haberan Sneed, after Sneed was slain, his body deformed into goo rather quickly, after returning to town, we discovered Sneed may have been a magical copy of the real Haberan Sneed.

After our return to town and prior to our trip to the sage to discuss our melted former employer. We sought out the constable to inform him regarding Haberan Sneed, we went to his home with the guards and found it sparsely furnished, leading credence to the theory he was a magical clone, of the original.

After investigating Sneed, we asked Wart the Constable if he still needed help with the Flying wolves. Wart had us stake out a farm and after we reviewed the creatures pattern and talked to some of its prior victims, we decided to stake out The Mcgraw farm, after the first night was uneventful, we checked on the other farms near by, and let them know we were at the Mcgraw place if the beast showed up. The other farmers were none to happy about this, wanting us at there place, so we went back to wart and arranged for other patrols at the other farms. A couple of nights past when late on the third night we saw the flying wolf, we attacked and drove it off. We were able to track it back to its den, and discovered there were two, As we entered the lair one let out a howl that struck fear in our hearts, Ciwin, Tenshi and I stood fast, somehow this broke GRIM and he took off. Left without our hardiest fighter Tenshi , Ciwin and I used a combination of Magic and Luck to kill the beasts. We decided to skin the beasts and when Grim returned headed back to town to lick our wounds and collect our reward, Wart told us If there were no attacks in a week we would get our full reward and gave us part of it b/c we had killed a couple of the flying beasts.
