The next night we all headed out to investigate the reports of the dead leaving there graves.

After a quick look around the graveyard we noticed one of the mausoleums was open.

I searched the opening for signs of traps and wards then Grim and I proceeded inside.

There was a sarcophagus in the room which Grim attempted to open a hand reached out and touched Grim who started to turn flush but suddenly recovered, I pulled out a flask of oil and Grim drew his sword in a flash, Tenshi threw several of his magical stars into the undead beast and then Ciwin called upon the power of the nature spirit of fire and caused the unholy creature to cower, Grim took this opportunity and cut the foul creature in two.

We returned to the grave yard and Ciwin was able to locate tracks, we were able to follow the tracks for a while but lost them deep in the woods. I decided to go ahead of the group since I was the quickest in the woods and discovered there were too many undead for us to handle, after a brief discussion the group decided to return to town and advise the authorities of what we had found.

We returned to Town the next day and Grim and I participated in the Drink Smash round 2. I lost to a Dwarf and Grim won in a mighty battle, The next day both Grim and the Dwarf advanced to the finals..

In the finals which lasted longer than any of the previous competitions, Grim won because the Dwarf passed out, but not to long after Grim passed out as well but was crowned the champ at drink smash.

The next day we decided to pursue the leads on the missing caravan, We talked with a merchant named Gravy and Tenshi negotiated a price of 200 gold for complete recovery of the wagons and crews, we headed down the south road and eventually found a burned out wagon, we searched the nearby area and found a small cave with a small tunnel and entered, the tunnel led to a small room with six goblins, Grim went charging into combat, and I tumbled into a more opportune striking position, as we entered the room the floor was rather slick and Grim was unable to maintain his balance, and had to fight much of the combat from a prone position. THEN THERE WAS A LOUD VOICE BEMOANING A DROPPED PASS AND THE TIGERS WERE PLAYING WELL THERE WAS NO REJOICING. Tenshi hit the goblins with a burning fan of flame and those that survived retreated to the next room, Grim followed first then the rest of us charged in, the battle was short and not at much cost to our party, there were some crates, but no sign of any live crew from the wagons, we discovered some clues that there may be slavers operating in the area.

We returned to Dhara's Grove and advised Gravy the bad news, he paid us for what we recovered and bid us farewell. We explained to him the possibility of slaver involvement, and he said he would contact the local authorities.

We decided to use some of our hard earned money and went to get dinner and the famous cobbler at the Crock Pot a local eatery run by a very nice halfling family. There was lots of activity in the restaurant that night A local fence named Marble was there, the Bard Toby who sang excellent songs, including an epic poem, dinner was excellent and the cobbler was warm and delicious, when we heard a load crash and a scream from the kitchen .AND THEN FROM THE HEAVENS A LOUD VOICE CRIED OUT DAWGS WIN!!!! AND THERE WAS MUCH REJOICING. The halfling family, with the exception of Dahla there daughter, came running out of the kitchen, followed by a swarm of Giant roaches. The entire tavern leapt into action battling these VERMIN Ciwin and Tenshi began casting burning hands spells, Grim I and several other tavern occupants drew weapons and engaged in combat, a fierce battle raged and a couple of commoners went down, as the crowd and my companions got the roaches under control I remembered that Dahla had not come out of the kitchen and rushed into the see if she was there, I looked around saw an enormous hole in the kitchen floor, and Yelled back that I was going down the hole, I began to anchor a rope, when Grim Flashed by and jumped Into the hole, Tenshi and Cewin followed through the door with the local warrior Crate.

Crate and Ciwin started down the rope into the hole as Grim began to battle the bugs.

Tenshi began unleashing his magic upon the roaches and I used my tumbling skill to try and flank bugs.. the battle raged in the sewers for what seemed to be an endless supply of these vermin, we were worn down and low on magic and most of us were badly wounded, resting was not an option if we were to save Dahla, Ciwin called upon the powers he worships and we all received a minor blessing of healing and the casters got some spells back, the battle continued throughout the sewers and we again we needed help, I decided the time had come to make my link with the god of nature, promising my services to him as a ranger in exchange for help in this time of need and once again our group received a divine blessing.

We heard a girl scream and went up out of the sewers into a home, we did battle in a hallway, and eventually entered the room were Dahla was being cocooned by a half humanoid half vermin beast who had several more Giant roaches guarding it. After an intense battle which we nearly lost, we were able to rescue the girl, and we summoned the guard we returned Dahla to her family, then went to Ciwin's fathers and collapsed to rest.
