Mom and dad were "Merchants" in Salvation. Once, when they had fallen on hard times, mom had sold her body to the priests of Xuul/Zuul, but did not inform her family. Not long after she died of the flu, and was resurrected as undead and slew her husband. Jonas only escaped by leaving the house and hiding. He was sent as an orphan to the curch of Pelor in Salvation. He was then trained as a priest and the recruited into the Order of Sacred Exorcists.
