Character Creation Rules
All characters will start at 2nd level. You have 1,000 XP. You get 900 gp to represent treasure gained in achieving 2nd level. We will be using my standard 80 point selection with an 8 minimum statistic. For every 18 you select, increase the minimum statistic by 1.
Hit Points will be maximum for 1st level. All levels after that will comprise of a choice made between either rolling the standard die roll for the class or taking half the die type. The decision must be made before proceeding. Example: My Rogue has 6 hit points for 1st level and fearing a bad roll, I choose to take half or 3 hit points. So, now I have a total of 11 hit points (6 (1st) + 3 (2nd) + 1 (Con) + 1 (Con)).
Characters will have one re-roll at 1st level and another every time they gain a normal feat (3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th). These re-rolls are available at the start of every game session and expire at the end of every game session. They can be used to re-roll either that character’s die roll or the DM’s die roll. Also, they can be used before a roll to add +4 to the roll (option cannot be selected on rolls for Hit Points). Only one re-roll can be applied to any particular roll. If you use a re-roll on Hit Points, you get to start over on whether to roll or take half the die type.
End of Game Session: After each session, the players will vote on the most outstanding player. The winner of the vote will receive a 10% experience point bonus and 1 luck point. Luck points never expire and can be spent on any of the following:
- 1 Point = 10% Experience Point Bonus
- 2 Points = 1 Bonus Re-roll per Session
- 3 Points = 1 Feat
- 4 Points = 1 Attribute Point
- 5 Points = Any 2 of the above choices
