Text Box: In days of yore, when giants ruled huge swaths of land, the frost giant jarls commanded great armies of their people and lived in vast complexes dug into the sides of lofty mountains.
The giants time of glory passed long ago, and today, they live in small bands, eking out a meager existence as raiders and hunters.  But their leaders still yearn for greatness, and some seek to reclaim that glory by returning to the ancient places of power.

With the crippling effect still felt by the Dwarven Stone Fever, it is believed that the giants are gathering their forces again behind a charismatic new leader.
Rumors out of the East tell of a powerful frost giant ruler, Gungir who has once again claimed the long forgotten title Text Box: of Jarl.  If he is allowed time to gather the giants to his banner, a new War of the Giants might come upon us.
This time, the dwarves may not be strong enough to survive such a War.

Text Box: of dragon has been spotted.  The Thorp of Bramblewood has reported a large green dragon in raids upon its fields and caravans.  The Hamlet of Kraal has reported a large black dragon in raids upon its livestock.  Finally, the Thorp of Luar has reported a large red dragon in attacks upon its shores.

It has been seen as far north as the Thorp of Bramblewood, as far south as the Hamlet of Kraal and as far west as the Thorp of Luar.
